Main technical content: Based on literature research and production technology investigation, research on seed reproduction and production of high-quality North Codonopsis was carried out, mainly including quality standards of high-quality seeds, field management, fertilization techniques, pest and disease control, seed harvesting, storage and quality inspection, etc., to complete the technical specifications for the breeding of high-quality North Codonopsis. North Codonopsis should first meet the quality standards of high-quality North Codonopsis, and then improve its seed yield through relevant cultivation techniques. 1  Selection of high-quality North Codonopsis materials: Cultivated varieties of Bupleurum L., belonging to the Umbelliferae family, which have passed the variety authentication/identification/registration/registration procedures. Seeds harvested in the autumn of the previous year or in the current year are selected and graded according to the following quality standards.
