Scope

This document describes the test method for determining the static stability of wheelchairs. This document is applicable to manual wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs (including electric mobility scooters) intended for indoor and/or outdoor mobility of disabled persons (carrying one passenger) with a maximum speed of no more than 15 km/h, and whose expected mass lies within the range of the dummy used in the ISO 7176–11 test.
