Scope
This document specifies the general requirements for dust removal systems used in dust explosion-prone areas, including process systems and equipment requirements, explosion control measures, monitoring and early warning requirements, and operational safety management requirements. It also describes the corresponding verification methods. This document applies to the design, manufacture, installation, acceptance, use, and maintenance of dust removal systems used in dust explosion-prone areas. This document does not apply to dust-prone areas in coal mines, fireworks and explosives, or strong oxidants.
