This standard applies to the calibration of online monitors for atmospheric volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including but not limited to those used to detect the concentrations of 117 types of atmospheric VOCs (the 117 types of atmospheric VOCs are listed in Appendix E). The calibration gas concentration range is determined according to the instrument manual and is generally (0–500) nmol/mol.
