Scope

This part of GB 24512 specifies the classification, designation, dimensions, shape, weight, and allowable deviations of seamless carbon steel pipes used in nuclear power stations, as well as technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality reports. This part is applicable to the manufacture of seamless carbon steel pipes (including carbon-manganese steel) for pressure-bearing components of Class 1, 2, and 3 nuclear power station equipment and non-nuclear-grade equipment.
