Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the content of magnesium, aluminum, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, potassium, calcium, titanium, manganese, iron, nickel, copper, zinc, barium, and lead in manganese ores by wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of the following elements in manganese ores. The determination ranges of each element (expressed as oxides) are shown in Table 1.
