Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, control of converter smoke (dust) sources, dust removal pipelines and general equipment, construction, installation and acceptance, operation and maintenance of the converter smoke ventilation and dust removal system. This document is applicable to the design, construction, commissioning, operation management and evaluation of the ventilation and dust removal systems for secondary and tertiary converter smoke, as well as slag and ferroalloy feeding systems. It does not include the content related to the purification and recovery of primary converter smoke.
