Scope

This document specifies the type and design principles, tolerances, requirements, inspection methods, marking and packaging of rectangular spline gauges used for centering rectangular splines on cylindrical shafts. This document is applicable to the design, production and use of rectangular spline gauges specified in GB/T 1144-2001, with a nominal minor diameter of 11 mm to 112 mm, a nominal major diameter of 14 mm to 125 mm, and a spline width/groove width of 3 mm to 18 mm.
