This standard applies to metal thermal spray coatings used for corrosion protection at temperatures below 1,000 °C (1,273 K).
For aluminum or zinc thermal spray coatings used to protect steel against atmospheric corrosion, refer to GB/T 9793.
This standard does not include coatings made from non-metallic materials prepared by spraying processes.
