Scope
This part of GB/T 30069 specifies the test methods for high strain rate tensile testing of metal materials using hydraulic servo and other types of test systems. This part only provides examples of flat specimens, but specimens with other geometrical dimensions can also be used.
This part is applicable to tensile tests conducted using hydraulic servo test systems at strain rates of 10-2 s-1 to 103 s-1 and test temperatures of 10℃ to 35℃, unless otherwise specified.
Note: When the strain rate is lower than 10-2 s-1, testing machines specifically designed for quasi-static tests can be used.
