Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the color fastness of various types of textiles after they have been subjected to household and commercial washing procedures using phosphorus-free standard detergents containing low-temperature bleaching agents.
The degree of discoloration and staining caused by dye desorption and/or friction in a single test on textiles is close to the results obtained after one round of household or commercial washing.
This method does not reflect the impact of fluorescent whitening agents in some commercial washing products.
