Scope

This document provides comprehensive requirements and guidance for the planning and engineering implementation of offshore wind farm port and offshore operations, including all documents and work related to such operations, such as the analysis and design of components, systems, equipment, and procedures for carrying out port and offshore operations, as well as the methods or procedures established for safely executing these operations.
This document aims to provide comprehensive information on all relevant port and offshore operations for offshore wind farms, including loading, offshore transportation, installation, offshore commissioning, operation and maintenance, component replacement, repair operations, and the decommissioning or redeployment of offshore wind farms.
This document applies to the following offshore structures and operations, including:
——Steel foundation structures;
——Concrete gravity foundation structures;
——High-pile steel foundations or steel-concrete hybrid foundation structures;
——Seabed templates or similar temporary structures, temporary auxiliary installation equipment;
——Steel or hybrid material tower cylinders, wind turbine generator nacelles, and blades;
——Turbines moored to the seabed;
——Self-elevating offshore structures used for offshore substations or offshore living platforms;
——Launching systems for ships from docks or coasts;
——Array cables within wind farms and output cables connecting wind farms to the power grid.
This document also applies to the modification of existing structures, such as installing additional components, replacing components, or decommissioning and dismantling, as well as offshore operations related to technical maintenance during the lifespan of wind farms.
This document does not apply to the following operations:
——Construction activities, such as pre-assembly sites on land that are not exposed to marine environments;
