Scope

This standard specifies the relevant safety operating procedures for the installation, operation, and maintenance of micro hydroelectric power generation equipment (hereinafter referred to as micro hydropower) with a rated power of 10 kW or less, including: the installation of generator sets, the erection of power lines, the installation of electronic controllers, system commissioning, and daily operation and maintenance. This standard applies to all types of micro hydropower with a power of 10 kW or less. Off-grid micro hydropower units with a power of less than 100 kW can be implemented in accordance with this standard.
