Scope

This document describes the principles, reagents and materials, instrumentation, experimental steps, result calculation, recovery rate, and precision of the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for determining the banned substances bromoxynil, carbofuran, and carbofuran in cosmetics. This document is applicable to the determination of bromoxynil, carbofuran, and carbofuran in water-based, emulsion-based, and ointment-based cosmetics. The method's detection and quantification limits for this document are as follows: - Bromoxynil and carbofuran: The detection limit for both is 1 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 5 mg/kg; - Carbofuran: The detection limit is 10 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 20 mg/kg.
