Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, nameplates, packaging marks, and user manuals, as well as packaging, transportation, and storage for medical biochemical incubators (hereinafter referred to as "incubators").
This standard applies to medical biochemical incubators that provide an ideal temperature field for the healthy growth of cultures and are used for culturing microbial samples from human sources such as bacteria and fungi, including medical fungal incubators, medical microbial incubators, and medical constant-temperature incubators.
This standard does not apply to medical carbon dioxide incubators and anaerobic incubators.
