Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and order forms (or contracts) for additive manufacturing TC4 titanium alloy honeycomb structure parts.
This standard applies to TC4 titanium alloy parts with an ordered periodic dense thin-walled honeycomb structure, manufactured by two powder bed additive manufacturing processes: laser selective melting and electron beam selective melting. It does not apply to TC4 titanium alloy parts with a three-dimensional network porous structure composed of fine rib rods.
