Scope

This part of YY/T 0457 is applicable to photoelectric X-ray image intensifiers used as components of medical diagnostic X-ray equipment. This part describes a method for determining the detector quantum efficiency (DQE) by analyzing the amplitude-frequency spectrum of single gamma ray photon flash pulses. The method described in this part is only applicable to photoelectric X-ray image intensifiers with an output radiation decay rate that is approximately equal to or better than that of P20 fluorescent substances.
