DB61/T 1694-2023 Inspecting rules for welding equipment for polyethylene piping

Scope

This document specifies the scope of inspection for in-service polyethylene pipe welding equipment, normative referenced documents, terms and definitions, general principles, inspection of electric fusion welding machines, fully automatic thermal fusion welding machines, semi-automatic thermal fusion welding machines, inspection conclusions and determination rules, inspection reports, and other requirements. This document applies to the inspection of in-service polyethylene pipe welding equipment (including electric fusion welding machines, fully automatic thermal fusion welding machines, and semi-automatic thermal fusion welding machines). The inspection of thermal fusion and electric fusion welding equipment used for connecting other plastic pipes (such as PE-X, PP, PVDF, PVC-C, PVC-U, etc.) can be carried out in accordance with this document. This document does not apply to manually driven thermal fusion welding machines, special-purpose welding equipment with specific requirements, PE socket welding machines, high-frequency welding equipment, vibration welding equipment, and friction welding equipment, etc.
