Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, and marking for twisted and coiled silk yarns from silkworm cocoons.
This standard applies to twisted and coiled silk yarns made from pure silkworm cocoons, with a yarn count of 15 Nm to 60 Nm. Silk yarns blended with other fibers shall be implemented in accordance with this standard.
