Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions of leaf onion seed production and seed production. This standard applies to the regular seed production of leaf onions in the arid-hot valley area of Jinsha River, Yunnan Province; Main technical content: 1. Seedling cultivation: - Open furrows 140 cm wide, with beds 100 cm wide and ditches 40 cm wide. Ensure the furrows are level and the soil is fine, and the ditches are straight. Then spread a layer of raw red soil on the beds and spray corresponding insecticides and fungicides. - Before sowing, disinfect the seeds with 800 times diluted Multisporin and evenly sow the seeds on the furrows (10 g per square meter). Cover with 0.5 cm of substrate, followed by a layer of straw. Water thoroughly and spray corresponding insecticides and fungicides. Set up small arched sheds and cover with shade nets. - During the seedling stage, leaf onions usually germinate in about 7 days. Remove the straw promptly when germinating. Remove the film at 9 am on clear days and cover it again at 6 pm. Use the shade nets to cover the seedlings during the daytime from germination to the emergence of true leaves. When the seedlings reach 2 leaves and 1 heart, typically apply fertilizer (N+P fertilizer at 0.02% concentration) about 15 days after germination. Spray fungicides when germinating. At about 60 days of seedling age, pay attention to preventing sudden wilt and aphid damage throughout the seedling stage. 2. Transplanting: - Requirements for selecting fields: Fertile soil with convenient irrigation and drainage, good isolation conditions, and a pH value of 6.0-6.8. - Tillage specifications: Open furrows 140 cm wide, with beds 100 cm wide and ditches 40 cm wide.
