Scope

The A method of this standard is applicable to the determination of the kinematic viscosity of liquid plasticizers with a kinematic viscosity of 1 centistoke to 15,000 centistokes. When the viscosity is greater than 15,000 centistokes, a Brinell viscometer with a diameter of 5.0 mm or 6.0 mm should be used for the determination. The B method is applicable to the determination of the kinematic viscosity of liquid plasticizers with a kinematic viscosity of less than 10,000 centistokes.
