Scope
This document specifies the multi-factor evaluation procedure for adding factors in the thermal evaluation diagnostic test of the electrical insulation system (EIS). Examples of additional factors (other than heat) include:
——Strong vibration;
——Immersion in oil, water, or solutions;
——Test voltage higher than the reference EIS's test voltage;
——Strong cold shock.
Note: Adding factors refers to introducing new influencing factors or enhancing the existing ones.
