Scope

This document specifies the procurement requirements for additive manufacturing parts.
This document establishes the guiding principles for customers and parts suppliers in the parts procurement process, including customer order information, parts definition data, raw material requirements, parts performance and functionality, inspection requirements, and parts acceptance methods.
This document applies to parts manufactured using additive manufacturing technology that meet the minimum acceptance requirements. When ordering, more stringent customer requirements can be met by adding one or more supplementary requirements.
