Scope
1.1 This standard specifies the determination of trace water content in industrial butadiene by the Karl Fischer coulometry method. This standard is applicable to the determination of trace water in industrial butadiene and other C4 olefins, with a measurement range of (5–500) mg/kg. 1.2 This standard is not intended to address all safety issues associated with its use. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the users of this standard to establish appropriate safety and protection measures and to determine appropriate regulations in advance.
