Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for relay protection devices of synchronous phase shifter sets.
This standard applies to relay protection devices (hereinafter referred to as devices) of synchronous phase shifter sets with a single-machine capacity of 100 MVar or more, including protection for phase shifters, main transformers, and excitation transformers, serving as the basis for the design, manufacture, testing, and operation of such devices. Protection devices for phase shifter sets of other capacities may be implemented in accordance with this standard.
