Scope

This standard specifies the calibration method for natural ventilation type eight-basket/multi-basket ovens used to determine the moisture content or moisture regain of textile materials. It is applicable to the calibration of newly manufactured, in-use, and repaired natural ventilation type eight-basket/multi-basket ovens (hereinafter referred to as ovens). The calibration of other natural ventilation type eight-basket/multi-basket ovens with the same or similar structures can be carried out in accordance with this standard.
