This standard specifies the quality requirements for first-generation silver gelatin microfilm products. This standard applies to first-generation silver gelatin negative microfilm products with low, medium, and high reduction ratios. This standard does not apply to microfilm products with ultra-high reduction ratios, color microfilm products, and COM microfilm products.
