Scope

This document specifies the quality management requirements for the design, evaluation, procurement, manufacturing, acceptance, storage, and labeling of metal materials used in safety-critical items of nuclear power plants.
This document applies to the quality management of metal materials used in mechanical safety-critical items of nuclear power plants, including profiles, plates, pipes, rods, wires, forgings, castings, etc. The quality management of metal materials used in other safety-critical items shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
