Scope
Scope: This document specifies the requirements for the establishment of orchards, soil and fertilizer management, tree management, pest and disease prevention, frost prevention and control, harvesting, waste disposal, and file management for Jiangyong pomelo. This document is applicable to the cultivation of Jiangyong pomelo. Main Technical Content: 3 Terms and Definitions: There are no terms or definitions that need to be defined in this document. 4 Establishing an Orchard 4.1 Site Selection and Planning: Comply with the provisions of DB43/T 287. 4.2 Infrastructure Construction: Implement according to the provisions of DB43/T 287. 4.3 Land Leveling: For slopes with a gradient of less than 15° and flat land, directly create ridges with a base width of 2 m to 2.5 m and a face width of 1.5 m to 2 m, with a height of 30 cm to 50 cm and a spacing of 2 m to 2.5m. For slopes with a gradient of more than 15°, terrace the land along contour lines with a width of 2.5 m to 3 m (5m to 6m for mechanized orchards), with a lower part lower than the upper part and a wall height of less than 1.7m. After terracing, create ridges with a base width of 2 m to 2.5m and a face width of 1.5m to 2m, with a height of 30 cm to 50 cm. When creating ridges, separate and stack the topsoil and subsoil, and mix and bury weeds and mountain green into the ridges when backfilling. Apply 3,000 kg to 5,000 kg of organic fertilizer per mu, and add 2 kg to 2.5 kg of quicklime per cubic meter of soil when the soil pH is less than 6. 4.4 Planting 4.4.1 Seedling Quality: The seedling quality meets the requirements of GB/T9659, and the quarantine is carried out in accordance with GB5040. 4.4.2 Planting Period: February to June and September to December. 4.4.3 Density: For slopes with a gradient of less than 15°, the planting spacing is 5 m by 6 m to 7 m. For slopes with a gradient of more than 15°, the planting spacing is 5 m. 4.4.4 Methods: Dig a hole 80 cm long, wide, and deep at the center of the seedl
