Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the remanufacturing process of non-road internal combustion engines, product performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to the remanufacturing of internal combustion engines used in ships, construction machinery, tractors, agricultural and forestry machinery, and generator sets. Other remanufactured internal combustion engines for which no suitable standards are available can also be used for reference.
