This standard applies to the quality control testing of medical digital X-ray photography (DR) systems, including DR systems that use line-array or planar-array scanning image detectors.
This standard does not apply to the quality control testing of breast digital X-ray photography (breast DR), dental digital X-ray photography, digital dual-energy photography, and digital tomosynthesis photography.
