Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for non-quilted down jackets. This standard applies to non-quilted down garments that are mainly made from woven fabrics and use down as the main filling material, with a stated down content of greater than or equal to 50%. This standard does not apply to down garments for infants and children aged 36 months and below.
