This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of heavy-duty sliding bearings for marine high-speed diesel engines.
This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and inspection of split heavy-duty sliding bearings (hereinafter referred to as bearings) for marine high-speed diesel engines with a rated speed of not less than 1,400 r/min and a bearing capacity of not less than 50 MPa.
