Scope

Main technical content: 1. For mechanized transplanting of peppers, it is advisable to select plots with leveled land, convenient irrigation and drainage, and suitable for mechanized operations. 2. Select varieties with strong growth vigor, short internodes, compact plant types, and adaptability to the local climate conditions for mechanized planting. 3. In combination with land preparation, evenly spread composted farmyard manure and diammonium phosphate, and use a rotary tiller to till the soil to a depth of 15–20 cm. 4. Determine the width of the mulching film based on the transplanting machine, and use an integrated mulching and pipe laying machine to lay drip irrigation tapes and apply mulching film. 5. Transplant after the end of the frost period. 6. Determine the planting density based on the characteristics of the variety, and adjust the planting spacing and depth of the transplanting machine according to the preset density. The planting depth should be controlled at 5–7 cm. 7. After transplanting, check for missing seedlings promptly and replant them in time.
