本标准规定了古建筑木构件安全性鉴定的术语和定义、基本规定、残损勘查项目和承载能力验算项目的鉴定评级。本标准适用于以下建筑的木构件安全性检查与鉴定：a)被各级政府核定公布为文物保护单位的木结构古建筑；b)尚未核定公布为文物保护单位，但被区、县级政府文物行政部门登记公布为不可移动文物的木结构古建筑；c)尚未列为不可移动文物，但经各级政府确定公布为历史建筑的木结构古建筑；d)尚未确定公布为历史建筑，但确有保护价值的木结构古建筑。
