Scope

This standard specifies the raw material requirements and technical requirements, application scope, usage methods, inspection methods, marking and packaging, transportation and storage, labels and instructions, and precautions for glutaraldehyde disinfectants.
This standard applies to disinfectants with glutaraldehyde, or glutaraldehyde plus fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, or glutaraldehyde plus dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, or glutaraldehyde plus dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium bromide as the main components; with pH adjusters (sodium bicarbonate), rust inhibitors (sodium nitrite) and other auxiliary components, and a final glutaraldehyde concentration range of 2.0% to 2.5%.
This standard does not apply to glutaraldehyde disinfectants with lower concentrations (below 2.0%).
