Scope

This standard specifies the detection methods for genetically modified components in corn and corn processing products.
This standard is applicable to the qualitative detection of genetically modified components in herbicide-resistant corn with the EPSPS gene, the PAT gene, and the BAR gene, and in insect-resistant corn with the Bt gene (Cry1A105, Cry1Ab). It is also applicable to the qualitative detection of genetically modified components in corn processing products. The minimum detection limit for genetically modified components specified in this standard is 0.1%.
