Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of auxiliary materials for lead-acid batteries.
This standard applies to auxiliary materials such as barium sulfate, sodium lignosulfonate, humic acid, short fibers, and carbon black used in lead-acid batteries, as well as composite auxiliary materials prepared by compounding multiple monomeric auxiliary materials.
