Scope

This document stipulates the operating conditions, vehicle types, basic requirements, and general provisions for mountain rail vehicles (hereinafter referred to as rail vehicles); vehicle models and train formations; vehicle bodies and interior equipment; bogies; braking systems; electrical systems; air conditioning and heating devices; network control and diagnostic systems; communication and passenger information systems; safety facilities; testing and acceptance; markings; and transportation and warranty periods. This document applies to mountain rail passenger vehicles with drive gears engaged with the rail, driven by gear and rail or gear and rail + conventional wheel pairs, with a track gauge of 1000mm. Other cargo vehicles and engineering vehicles operating on rail vehicles can refer to and implement it accordingly.
