Scope

Scope: This document stipulates the transportation of goats, including the isolation of diseased goats, the transportation of meat and cashmere goats, the transportation of goats for slaughter, the handling of dead goats during transportation, the isolation of diseased goats, and the transporters. The following terms and definitions apply to this document. Isolation refers to keeping animals in designated places and being cared for by specialized personnel until the risk of infectious disease transmission is eliminated. Specific animal disease-free area refers to an area with natural barriers or artificial measures, where one or several specified animal diseases do not occur within a certain period of time, and the area has passed the inspection and approval. Licensed veterinarians refer to veterinarians who have obtained veterinary practice qualifications in accordance with relevant national regulations and engage in animal diagnosis and health care activities legally. Transportation facilities refer to freight vehicles. Ramp refers to a platform or frame with a certain slope used for loading and unloading goats. Shippers refer to drivers and relevant responsible persons engaged in goat transportation.
