Scope
This document specifies a method for monitoring particle contamination levels online or offline using shading technology (also known as photometric method or shading method), and also prescribes the operating procedures for the correct use of laboratory and on-site calibration instruments and verification instruments.
The method specified in this document is applicable to monitoring:
——the cleanliness of hydraulic systems;
——the flushing process;
——auxiliary equipment and test benches.
This method is only applicable to single-phase liquid systems.
