This standard specifies the structural characteristics, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of circumferential X-ray tubes.
This standard applies to circumferential X-ray tubes used for industrial flaw detection with a tube voltage of less than 500 kV (hereinafter referred to as circumferential tubes).
