Scope

This regulation applies to the investigation, design, construction, quality inspection, and acceptance of long-spiral drilling and grouting pile foundations for industrial and civil buildings and municipal engineering projects in our province. This type of pile foundation is suitable for foundations composed of uncompacted soil, clay, silt, sand, loose sand and gravel, fully weathered rock layers, or strongly weathered rock layers. Long-spiral drilling and grouting piles are divided into piles with reinforcing cages grouted after grouting concrete and piles grouted with pure concrete. The former are designed, constructed, inspected, and accepted according to pile foundation theory, while the latter are designed, constructed, inspected, and accepted according to composite foundation theory.
