This procedure is applicable to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of micrometers with three, five, and seven gauges (hereinafter referred to as "odd-numbered gauge micrometers") whose upper measurement limit is less than 100 mm and whose graduation values are 001 mm, 0001 mm, 0002 mm, and 0005 mm.
