Scope: This standard specifies the technical procedures for efficient farming of artificial grasslands in family sheep farms in the karst mountainous areas of Guizhou Province. They are new agricultural and pastoral business entities characterized by professionalized management, appropriate scale, standardized production, and market-oriented operation. 3.2 The main breeding model is ecological farming based on family units, with artificial grasslands serving as the main forage source for sheep. Resource conditions: Relatively concentrated and contiguous artificial grasslands or land suitable for artificial grassland cultivation; Breeding scale: Able to breed 100 breeding ewes, with a breeding scale of 300-500 ewes and an annual slaughter volume of 200-400 ewes. 3.3 Zoned rotational grazing is an economical and effective way to utilize grasslands.
