Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography method for determining the content of indicative polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and hexachlorobenzene in feed. This standard is applicable to compound feed, concentrated feed, premix feed additives, feed raw materials (except oils) and feed additives such as copper sulfate for the determination of the content of indicative polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB28, PCB52, PCB101, PCB118, PCB138, PCB153, PCB180) and hexachlorobenzene (HCB) individually or in combination. The detection limit of indicative polychlorinated biphenyls and hexachlorobenzene in this standard is 0.5 μg/kg, and the quantitative limit is 2 μg/kg.
