GB/T 42599-2023 Wind energy generation systems—Electircal simulation model validation
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the validation procedure for electrical simulation models of wind turbines and wind farms used in power system and grid stability analysis. The test data for model validation is obtained in accordance with the IEC 61400-21 series of documents. This document is applicable to the general models specified in IEC 61400-27-1 and other base-frequency wind turbine and wind farm models.
The validation items for wind turbine models include fault-ride-through capability and control characteristics simulation. Fault-ride-through capability includes the response characteristics of wind turbine models to voltage drops and voltage increases under balanced and unbalanced conditions. Control characteristics include active power control, frequency control, inertia control, and reactive power control. The test data for wind turbine model validation is based on the test procedures specified in IEC 61400-21-1, and the validation is carried out at the output end of the wind turbine.
Since IEC 61400-21-2, which specifies the test content and methods for wind farms, is still in the preparation stage, this document does not specify the validation procedure for wind farm models in detail. The reference point for wind farm model validation is the wind farm access point (hereinafter referred to as the "grid connection point").
Note: The wind farm access point is also known as the wind farm grid connection point.
The model validation procedure specified in this document is based on the comparison of test data and simulation data, and the validation results do not depend on the selection of simulation software.
