Scope

This regulation applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of single-phase analogue pointer phase meters (including phase angle meters and power factor meters, hereinafter referred to as phase meters) with a rated frequency of 50Hz that are newly manufactured, in use, or repaired.
This regulation does not apply to electronic power frequency phase meters, automatic recording phase meters, phase-shifting compensation phase meters, non-power frequency phase meters, three-phase phase meters, and other types of phase measuring instruments that do not comply with this regulation.
