Scope
This regulation applies to newly manufactured and in-use wooden (including aluminum and plastic types) rulers. Wooden rulers are work metering instruments subject to mandatory initial verification and use of the CCV mark as stipulated by the state. The verification of wooden (including plastic types) folding rulers (hereinafter referred to as rulers or folding rulers) is also covered by this regulation. Rulers and folding rulers made of other materials can be verified in accordance with this regulation.
