Scope

This standard specifies the test method for measuring the rolling circumference and the number of revolutions per unit distance (kilometer) of motorcycle tires under load conditions.
This standard applies to all new motorcycle tires.
Note: Since the speedometer on most motorcycles is driven by the front wheel, the test tires are mainly focused on tire specifications suitable for the front wheel. However, this test method is also applicable to the measurement of rear wheel tires.
